Vice President of Marketing | B2B | Travel industry | New York or Boston (Hybrid) | $140,000 – $200,000 + Bonus (20%)

With over 5000 staff worldwide, their team is always growing, with some of the most talented people in the industry! This role would sit on the B2B side of their organisation, focusing on corporate travel solutions, meetings and events. With 9 direct reports spanning across 5 regions, you will join a wider corporate marketing team consisting of 100+ members around the world.
  
The Role:
As Vice President of Marketing USA, you will own the end-to-end planning and execution of the regional marketing strategy for the USA aligned to the global brand plan, across the customer lifecycle with a strong focus on digital inbound demand generation (branding, paid media campaign strategy, top of funnel awareness and demand generation of new leads). This role requires a strategic leader with bounds of B2B marketing experience who has previous experience working with global teams at scale. The role will begin with 4 direct reports with plans to substantially grow the team. The ideal candidate will be based in New York, but Boston will work as well. This is a hybrid position with at least 3 days in the office each week (Bryant Park or Boston).
  
Requirements:
  • Work with global marketing team and be the voice of the US customer and ensure they are catering to the nuances of the region
  • Support global marketing initiatives and be the lead for deploying these in your region
  • Responsibility for a strategic area / projects as defined by the Global SVP marketing
  • Contribute to global campaign strategy (demand generation, retention and upsell), projects and deliver and champion the plans in your region
  • Partake in global projects as defined by the SVP Brand Marketing 30% of your time will be weighted towards global projects
  • Plan and execute regional marketing programs by close partnership with global marketing team, sales and US leadership to generate pipeline and support revenue goals
  • Predominantly focus on demand generation but build revenue opportunities across the entire customer lifecycle
  • Be the custodian of the brand and its consistent delivery in market
  • Manage regional marketing team covering events, campaigns and partnerships functions  
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a senior marketing leadership role, with a track record of managing high-performing teams and driving business growth
  • Extensive exposure to a B2B environment, with a deep understanding of target audience needs and behaviour
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executive leadership, cross-functional teams, and external partners or vendors
  • Strong digital understanding with strengths in strategy, paid media, campaign management, top-of-funnel awareness and demand generation of new leads.

  • Ability to effectively take the lead on specific projects and strategies, drive outcomes, while working autonomously

  • Proficient in using Microsoft word, excel and PowerPoint
  • An understanding of website content management
