Embark on a journey of IT transformation with a prominent governmental entity keen on elevating its IT Service Management Maturity through the implementation of ServiceNow platform. As a seasoned ServiceNow Implementation Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in steering the successful design and execution of IT Service Management and Strategic Portfolio Management capabilities.

Your realm of responsibility:
  • Configuring, customising, and maintaining standard ServiceNow ITSM modules/components.
  • Orchestrating the development and implementation of new ServiceNow applications and integrations, ensuring they are finely tuned to customer requisites from inception to fruition.
  • Aiding in the roll out of ITSM Standard, CSM Standard, CMDB and SPM visibility, integration, and data necessities.
  • Crafting, designing, and deploying application modules, workflows, and catalogue requests.
  • Translating business needs into streamlined processes, high-level solutions or support models.
  • Future-proofing applications by envisioning their evolution.
  • Tackling complex challenges in a dynamic and agile environment.
  • Collaborating closely with project teams, business stakeholders, and technical resources to ensure a triumphant delivery of ServiceNow solutions.
Performance Metrics:
  • Discovery (10%): Lead the design and documentation of technical solutions, advocating a mindset of continuous improvement.
  • Development (50%): Oversee the design, development, testing, and implementation of application solutions, automation workflows and integration solutions.
  • Compliance & Security (10%): Manage non-compliance remediation and provide security hardening insights.
  • Testing (15%): Engage in System and Integration Activities, remediate defects ensuring acceptance of remediation.
  • Go-Live & Hypercare (10%): Support technical go-live activities, remediate defects during Hypercare ensuring acceptance of remediation.
  • Documentation & Training (5%): Support documentation of As-Built solutions, mentor and train DevOps team members, and aid stakeholders in Operational Readiness activities.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computing Science, Information Technology or related field.
  • ITIL 4 Foundations Certified (or higher), ServiceNow System Administration or Certified Implementation Specialist Certifications.
  • Australian Citizenship and ability to gain NV1 Clearance
Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in ServiceNow implementation.
  • Proven track record in Business Process documentation, re-engineering, and implementing ITSM and SPM solutions.
  • Proficiency in web development languages such as JavaScript, XML, Angular JS, Bootstrap, AJAX and HTML/CSS.
  • Demonstrable experience in Web Service integrations using SOAP and REST.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving aptitude coupled with proficient interpersonal skills.
  • A "can do" disposition, highly organised with the knack to prioritise tasks under pressure.
