The Role:
Your job as Senior Software Tools Engineer, will ensure you are responsible for the design, implementation, deployment and optimization of Digital Content Creation (DCC) tools and plugins for third-party software such as Maya and Motion Builder. Your aim will be to empower the studios teams of animators, artists, designers and motion capture technicians to produce high-quality character visuals and animations for our AAA action games.

Responsibilities:
- Analyze, design, implement and optimize tools and plugins to empower the production of high-fidelity character visual and animation content in AAA action games
- Collaborate with animators, artists, designers and motion capture technicians to understand their Digital Content Creation requirements, workflow limitations and future vision
- Analyze existing DCC tools, workflows, and engine capabilities, understand technological limitations and develop solutions to push the boundaries of what the team can achieve
- Develop elegant interfaces and efficient implementations for DCC software plugins for Maya and MotionBuilder
- Apply cutting-edge technology such as AIGC to improve, automate and optimize the DCC pipelines and workflows.
- Onboard, mentor and support your fellow software engineering teammates
- Research and develop novel content creation techniques and share your knowledge with partnering game teams and the whole company.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a software engineer in the games industry with multiple published titles
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a dedicated/senior/lead tools engineering position.
- Excellent C++ knowledge with demonstrated experience
- Excellent knowledge of modern video game character and animation techniques, content pipelines and tools
- Experience developing plugins for third-party DCC software such as Maya, MotionBuilder and others
- Strong knowledge of 3D math, physics, memory management, multi-threading and optimization
- Strong knowledge of high-end PC and console game development, deployment, and debugging.
- Ability to write clear and well-structured code, review and maintain high standards of code quality
- Strong communication, proactivity, conflict resolution and collaboration skills.
- Experience working with Unreal Engine
- Experience in animation engineering
- Degree in Computer Science and Engineering
- Team management and leadership experience is a major plus.
- Passion for action games and related genres (sports, action RPGs, fighting) is a plus
