Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable full-stack features using React, Node.js, GraphQL, and SQL
• Collaborate with product and design teams to bring new features to life from concept to production
• Integrate AI-assisted development tools (like Claude and Cursor) to drive smarter, faster development
• Deploy and manage applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Optimise performance and ensure the platform remains robust and secure as it scales
• Contribute to architectural decisions and help define engineering best practices
• Thrive in a lean start-up environment with end-to-end product ownership

Desired Skills and Attributes

• Strong experience across the full stack, particularly React, Node.js, GraphQL, and SQL
• Comfortable working with cloud platforms — ideally GCP, but AWS or Azure also considered
• Previous experience in a start-up or small, high-impact engineering team
• Solid understanding of AI development tools or willingness to explore and adopt them
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive, self-starting approach
• Ability to work remotely within Sydney business hours
