The Role

They are seeking a driven Sales and Training Specialist to expand market presence across the Prairie provinces — specifically Saskatchewan and Manitoba. This position combines business development, customer education, and product advocacy to ensure both revenue growth and strong clinical adoption.



The Responsibilities:


  • Lead proactive sales efforts, including cold outreach and territory development, to secure new clinical partnerships.
  • Build strong relationships within optometry and ophthalmology environments.
  • Deliver compelling presentations and guide clients through the full sales cycle from initial outreach to contract completion.
  • Analyze market activity and performance trends, sharing insights to influence commercial strategy.
  • Provide hands-on training and ongoing support to customers to maximize product confidence and utilization.
  • Act as a resource for colleagues by sharing best practices and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.


The Requirements:


  • Proven experience in sales, with emphasis on cold calling and pipeline growth.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to design and deliver effective training sessions.
  • Strong analytical mindset with a focus on measurable outcomes.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms, ideally HubSpot.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
  • Advantageous: background in medical device sales, particularly within the eye care sector.
  • Advantageous: history of surpassing sales targets and applying structured sales methodologies.
  • Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and digital communication platforms such as Zoom or Teams.
