The Role
You will help design the narrative elements of the next AAA PC and console games, translating Chinese content to English with a core focus on quality control whilst collaborating with talented gaming professionals. 

Responsibilities:

• Provide game localization translation (Chinese to English), strictly control quality and verify translated content.
• Use creativity to consider, plan and detail script design to ensure it’s playable, fun, and engaging, including scripts, narrative text, story setting, etc
• Develop, improve and enhance world-building in terms of specific settings and aspects of geographical features, natural and cultural environments, respective forces as well as sphere of influence through storyboards and relevant research based on underlying worldview structure

Qualifications:

• Native English speaker with basic command of Mandarin to independently undertake the localization translation of Chinese content into English and capabilities to implement and maintain high-quality control over translation.
• At least one full-time narrative designer project experience within the industry or localization experiences of multiple film and game productions (Chinese to English). Familiar with the designer workflow. Multi-link teamworking skills and the ability to collaborate between multi-functional groups.
• Possess accumulated knowledge of English expression as well as creative work with a well-established personal touch. Willingness and aptitude to strike a balance between historical accuracy and stylistic creativity. In-depth study of nautical and adventure themes is preferred.
