The Role:
The Media Director will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing comprehensive media strategies that drive business growth. This position requires a visionary leader with a strong foundation in programmatic marketing and media buying. This role requires a deep understanding of B2B media channels, vendors, and trends, paired with a strategic mindset and a passion for innovation. By integrating data insights with innovative approaches, this role will ensure the delivery of impactful campaigns across diverse channels.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and oversee media strategies tailored to meet client objectives, focusing on programmatic marketing and ABM platforms.
- Manage media buying for trade publications, ensuring optimal placement and return on investment.
- Lead the implementation and optimisation of campaigns on platforms such as 6sense and Demandbase.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align media efforts with broader marketing initiatives.
- Analyse campaign performance and provide actionable insights to drive continuous improvement.
- Stay updated on industry trends to ensure strategies remain cutting-edge and effective.
- Manage budgets, ensuring cost efficiency while achieving strategic goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media partners and vendors.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in programmatic marketing and media buying, with a focus on trade publications, SEM and social.
- Hands-on expertise with the Trade Desk and/or DV360
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and optimise campaigns accordingly.
- Excellent leadership and project management abilities.
- Proven vendor management and negotiation skills.
- A deep understanding of media strategy, planning, and buying, with a strong focus on B2B.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- A track record of success in managing budgets and achieving measurable outcomes.
