The Role


The Media Buyer will play a key role in elevating the brand’s media strategy, managing and optimizing campaigns across both traditional and digital channels. Working closely with the Senior Brand Manager, this individual will lead the execution of media buying initiatives that drive brand visibility, audience engagement, and measurable growth. While the company currently has a strong foundation in traditional media (primarily print), this role will be instrumental in expanding their digital footprint and introducing programmatic and digital buying into their overall media mix. The ideal candidate is growth-oriented, data-savvy, and comfortable navigating both established and emerging channels. They bring a strong understanding of media planning, a strategic mindset, and solid industry relationships across TV, radio, and other key media outlets.


Responsibilities


  • Plan, negotiate, and execute media buys across traditional and digital platforms including TV, radio, print, podcasts, OOH/DOOH, and online display just to name a few.
  • Manage campaigns across both online and offline advertising channels, ensuring strategic integration and consistent brand messaging.
  • Develop and manage media strategies aligned with brand goals to increase awareness, household penetration, and actionable audience insights.
  • Manage medium-sized advertising budgets efficiently, ensuring strong ROI and balanced channel mix.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams and creative partners to ensure messaging and media placements align with brand direction.
  • Research, evaluate, and recommend opportunities for new digital channels, including programmatic and DSP-based campaigns.
  • Maintain and leverage strong relationships with media vendors, publishers, and platform representatives.
  • Monitor campaign performance, prepare post-buy reports, and provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Stay informed of industry trends, emerging media technologies, and competitive activity to inform strategy.


Requirements


  • 3+ years of experience in media buying, planning, or media strategy, preferably in consumer goods, wellness, or related industries.
  • Proven experience managing medium-sized budgets across multiple channels simultaneously.
  • Strong background in both traditional and digital media buying, including OOH/DOOH, TV, radio, print, and podcasts.
  • Understanding of programmatic advertising principles; Hands-on DSP experience is highly valued.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and established relationships with key media vendors and networks.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to interpret campaign data and adjust strategy accordingly.
  • A proactive, growth-oriented mindset with a passion for exploring new opportunities in the digital landscape.
  • Experience buying media in the U.S. is an asset. 
  • Proficiency in French and/or Spanish language is an asset.
