Performance Marketing Strategist | Hybrid Toronto | $90-100k + Benefits

The Role:


This role offers a chance to lead high-performing paid media programs for a range of mission-aligned brands. The successful candidate will bring a strategic mindset, strong hands-on platform knowledge, and the ability to translate performance data into meaningful business insights. Working closely with internal teams and senior client stakeholders, this person will be responsible for guiding digital advertising strategy across platforms including Meta, Google, TikTok, programmatic, and more. The position also includes team mentorship responsibilities and requires someone comfortable navigating both big-picture planning and day-to-day tactical oversight.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop and lead cross-channel paid media strategies that align with client goals
  • Present campaign insights, optimizations, and recommendations to senior stakeholders
  • Oversee media buying activities across major platforms, ensuring budgets and timelines are met
  • Design testing plans and experimentation roadmaps to improve performance outcomes
  • Collaborate with internal analytics, creative, and account teams to drive campaign success
  • Mentor and support junior team members, offering strategic guidance and technical coaching
  • Contribute to the evolution of internal processes, tools, and performance benchmarks
  • Monitor key performance indicators and surface actionable insights tied to business growth.


Requirements:


  • 10+ years of performance marketing experience, ideally within a fast-paced agency setting
  • Proven ability to manage complex campaigns with 6+ figure annual budgets
  • Hands-on experience with Google Ads, Meta Business Manager, TikTok Ads, and DSPs
  • Strong understanding of media metrics including CPA, ROAS, CTR, LTV, and CVR
  • Confident communicator with experience leading client conversations and presentations
  • Background in wellness, health, or pharmaceutical brands is considered a strong asset
  • Comfortable mentoring junior colleagues and collaborating across departments
  • Skilled in Excel and presentation software for reporting and storytelling.
