The Company:

This Connected TV (CTV) AdTech powerhouse is the Ad Monetisation arm of a well-known and global electronics company, leveraging proprietary real-time TV viewing behaviour and insights to promote relevant brands and content experiences to consumers. They partner with brands, agencies, and content owners to deliver unique advertising opportunities on native placements within their CTV platform. Their unique first party data help brands connect to their audience as they explore content across desktop, mobile, tablets and their Smart TVs. The ad platform delivers high-quality audience targeting powered by three key components: first-party audience data at scale, world-class data science, and brand-safe cross-device ad inventory.

The Position:

Based in Sydney this position will be reporting directly into to the Head of Advertiser Partnerships. My client is committed to transforming the partnerships they create with Advertiser client partners – and are growing their business through building deeper client partnerships, with a clear value exchange and genuine deal innovation. You will support the Advertiser Partnership Sales function by producing strategic material taking a data- led approach, both for existing clients as well as creating pre-sales pitch material for new prospects.

Your role will require you to work Cross-Functionally linking with Product marketing, Data & Insights, Operations, Business Development and the broader Sales teams. You will quickly develop a deep understanding of the product suite, key opportunities and bespoke solutions which you will use to positively influence key stakeholders with data-driven storytelling.

If you're obsessive about solving client business problems and adept at using data and insights to build compelling stories then this is the right role for you. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter who knows where to look for answers and who knows great client responses start with great questions. It will be a bonus if you already work in the content, entertainment or media space, but not a mandate; a demonstrable love and deep understanding of the category will be more than enough.

  • Build Pre-Sales strategic material for the Advertiser Direct and Priority clients 
  • Unearth the key client business challenges and layer in the most appropriate solutions to unlock further spend.
  • Help grow the business by proving effectives and building trust with clients and increasing SOW.
  • Help develop new business opportunities and wins outside the existing core group of clients.
  • Be comfortable running brainstorm sessions with key stakeholders to develop ideas & insights which feed your core strategic materials and solutions
  • Be the lynch-pin across Cross-Functional teams – knowing who the right people are to build the best response
  • Be a category expert, knowing the large and small details, what keeps clients up at night and where the industry is heading
  • Work to deadlines and be adept at prioritisation and delivery of key projects on time.
  • Analysing Post-Campaign analysis to understand what is working and which levers to pull for
    future recommendations.
  • Sell in ideas and solutions and build strong internal and external network with peers and clients.
 Skills & Experience Required:
  • 6+ years experience in Media Sales or Agency strategy background
  • Outstanding multi-tasking and teamwork capabilities with a cheerful, proactive attitude.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Passion for data and the creation of reports and documents fit for client facing purposes.
  • Be persistent, resilient and able to handle pressure but also be a good active listener to really hone in on clients’ needs. 
  • Strong self-discipline and attention to detail.
  • Independent, self-starter; comfortable with ambiguity, and resilient but thrive in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to provide comprehensive compelling and persuasive solutions to prospective clients.
