Retail Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of Project Coordinators in the delivery of production solutions across retail and brand experience projects.
  • Provide robust, creatively sound production solutions for retail fixtures, displays, fit-outs, and store development projects, ensuring execution excellence within timeframes and budgets.
  • Oversee construction alongside General Contractors to ensure specifications and quality standards are met.
  • Build, maintain, and manage client relationships.
  • Coordinate internal teams and suppliers from project initiation to completion, including design, procurement, production, logistics, installation, and maintenance.
  • Manage project financials to ensure profitability.
  • Foster professional and personal growth within the team through effective goal-setting and appraisals.
  
Desired Skills and Attributes:
  • Tertiary qualification in Project Management or related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in retail or commercial fit-outs or IT retail project management.
  • Deep knowledge of the IT/Telco retail ecosystem, shop design, and production project management.
  • Strong understanding of the Australian shop fitting industry and retail POS.
  • Proven experience in client service and relationship management.
  • Engineering, architecture, or design background is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive, positive attitude.
