Product Manager - Customer Data Platform

A hyper-growth ecommerce leader is looking to build their Melbourne team with the hire of a Product Manager. Their product enables companies to unlock value by making each transaction relevant at the moment that matters most—when customers are buying. Their AI-based relevance platform and scaled ecommerce network power billions of transactions. Key Responsibilities


• Create successful, high-impact product strategies in line with the company’s vision, market insights, and customer needs.

• Proactively identify and procure information that improves relevance in ecommerce, negotiating with external vendors when required.

• Ensure alignment with senior stakeholders and executives across departments, making critical decisions to steer the product to long-term success.

• Make informed prioritization decisions considering inputs from stakeholders and leveraging data-driven insights.

• Collaborate closely with engineers, data scientists, and other product managers to deliver successful products.


Desired Skills and Attributes


• 3+ years of experience in a high-growth tech company or other relevant organization.

• Solid experience with customer data platforms and third-party data.

• Ability to work in fast-paced teams.

• Ability to collaborate with engineers in developing technical architecture and lead commercial conversations with clients and vendors.

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., science, engineering, computer science).

• Creative and strategic thinker with a strong understanding of market competition.

• Skilled in resolving complex problems and structuring solutions.

• Passionate about data analysis and proven track record of successful product delivery with measurable outcomes.

• Adept at managing product health and resource allocation.

• Thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments and eager to grow your product career.
