An Australian owned, multi award winning Telco that takes pride upon being pioneers in delivering innovative telecom and technology solutions to their clients are currently seeking a visionary Head of Solution Architecture to lead their national team and drive groundbreaking advancements in their service offerings.

Position Purpose

The Head of Solution Architecture will be instrumental in shaping the future of the technology landscape. This role involves the strategic oversight of their solution architecture frameworks, leading a team of 10 specialists, and ensuring their solutions not only meet but exceed the evolving needs of their customers and the market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Drive the development and implementation of advanced architectural strategies across multiple platforms and technologies.
  • Team Management: Lead and inspire a team of solution architects in the design of innovative, scalable, and secure solutions that align with business goals.
  • Innovation and Development: Foster an environment of innovation that encourages the adoption of new technologies and methodologies.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with senior management, IT teams, and external partners to ensure strategic alignment and seamless execution of technology initiatives.
  • Customer Focus: Maintain a deep understanding of customer requirements and market trends to guide the development of architecture that enhances customer satisfaction and engagement.

Position Requirements

  • Qualifications: Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced certifications in architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) preferred.
  • Experience: At least 15 years in technology roles with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role within solution architecture. Proven track record in a telecommunications or similar technology-driven industry.
  • Skills: Exceptional leadership and communication skills, strategic thinking, and a strong customer focus. Advanced technical skills across various platforms and a deep understanding of industry standards and technology trends.
