The Company

This company is a legal technology company founded by two experienced legal tech entrepreneurs and a seasoned litigator. Their mission is to make life easier for legal professionals and enable greater access to legal services for all. Their AI-powered platform automatically searches, contextualizes and extracts texts from unstructured documents and seamlessly integrates into the daily workflows of legal professionals. Having successfully launched their beta, they’re now transitioning to commercial release and seeking their first team member focused on sales and marketing efforts.


The Role

They are seeking a GTM Lead (Growth Marketer) to drive the development and execution of their go-to-market strategies. This role will focus on acquiring, activating, growing and retaining customers among litigation lawyers in the US, Canada and beyond. The GTM Lead will work closely with the founders to implement targeted marketing campaigns, optimize customer acquisition costs, and ensure the product aligns with market needs. A competitive salary and substantial equity are both on offer for this position.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute customer acquisition and activation strategies, including product positioning, messaging and competitive analysis.
  • Create and manage data-driven content marketing and customer education campaigns to generate inbound product demand and reduce customer acquisition costs.
  • Design and implement customer referral and retention programs to support growth, enhance customer lifetime value, and minimize churn.
  • Oversee multichannel marketing campaigns, utilizing analytics to create/manage a content calendar, and monitor key marketing metrics for data-driven decision-making.
  • Collaborate with the product team to ensure features align with sales strategies and market needs, using customer feedback and market analysis.
  • Coordinate and execute targeted direct outreach campaigns and manage legal conference schedules to maximize exposure and lead generation.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in marketing for B2B SaaS targeting the SMB market.
  • Strong understanding of marketing channels and strategies with proficiency in marketing automation tools and CRM systems.
  • Excellent communication, project management skills, and the ability to analyze data for actionable insights.
  • Experience with funnel marketing, ultimately delivering highly qualified leads to the sales team.
  • Creative thinker who is comfortable educating customers on technical and workflow-related topics.
  • Start-up experience is ideal, but the candidate must be open to the fluidity and ambiguity
  • Any exposure to AI business’ and technology will be highly regarded.
