The Opportunity:
Come join my client's fast growing Digital team, you will help execute the tactical planning, implementation and activation of digitally purchased media campaigns, leveraging a combination of real-time and guaranteed buying across both open exchange, direct publishers and Social platforms. The Digital Performance Manager will perform in-platform trading techniques and analyses delivery and performance across the client portfolio (Programmatic and Social clients). The role partners with the Campaign Management team to offer account optimisation strategies to drive performance.
Success in this position is measured by delivery of a campaign ROI, which can range from Branding (e.g. awareness, consideration, intent) to Performance (e.g. usage, acquisition, ROAS). Overall customer retention and satisfaction is a priority KPI for this role, so attention to detail is a must have.
The Performance Manager will be responsible for:
  • Executing bid and buy strategies across social, mobile, video and display adhering to client performance and pricing guidelines
  • Ensuring full delivery and performance standards of advertising campaigns are met
  • Strategic recommendations and opportunities for improvement in bid and buy strategies
  • Adhering to the appropriate SLA's during daily activities
  • Communicating with your Team Lead on process and analytics improvement opportunities
  • Creating robust post campaign analysis by utilising data via Demand Side Platform buying tool
  • Leveraging your deep understanding of actionable optimisation opportunities to execute on these;
  • Providing recommendations to improve upon weekly and monthly performance reports
  • A safe pair of hands when it comes to technical support, troubleshoot underperforming or under delivering campaigns and discrepancies
  • Assisting in training and development of junior operations and client services staff when required
  • Proactively providing input to operational ways of working based on day to day involvement in the process.
The ideal Performance Manager will be:
  • 2+ years experience working in the Programmatic (1.5 years min) and Social (1 year min) digital media buying & planning space with focus on strategy and execution
  • Ideal candidate would come from an agency background working on numerous client accounts/projects.
  • Hands on experience in setting up programmatic & social campaigns and managing/optimising end to end.
  • Extensive experience working on and leading projects towards tight deliverables. Being approachable and a strong mentor for more junior members of the team.
  • Highly experienced in-platform execution experience managing campaigns and making decisions (Facebook Ads Manager and The Trade Desk/DV360 as a minimum
  • Confident in making business decisions based on interpreting data and asking relevant questions
  • Organised and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, time management is crucial for a Trader
  • Charismatic, direct and proactive with the ability to build credibility internally and externally
  • Able to articulate information in a concise and compelling manor
  • Proactive and engage with your team members, have a ‘can do’, positive and flexible attitude
  • An excellent listener to understand our clients and other teams requirements
  • Able to take ownership of your day-to-day
