Digital Marketing Account Manager | B2B Marketing Agency | Hybrid in Calgary | $65k-$85k + Bonus


The Company:

Join a fast-growing B2B digital marketing agency based in Calgary! My client is an exciting B2B agency focused on helping their clients which span across North America. Specializing in search, content, and paid marketing, they utilize the power of growth marketing in order to change the future for their B2B Clients.


The Role:

As the Digital Marketing Account Manager, you will work alongside the Digital Strategy team, reporting to the Digital Lead. Although managing client accounts is a key factor of this role, you will also be helping to manage their future plans, giving ideas, and suggestions, critiquing plans and ideas, advising, and solution providing! My client is in search of a confident and amicable peoples-person, who has the ability to both pinpoint and question some ideas, whilst also providing their own solutions, and answers to campaigns and growth strategies. You will both maintain and foster current client relations, whilst also successfully engaging in new relationships. 




Client Communication and Relationship Management:

Act as the main point of contact between the agency and the client. Understand the client's business objectives, goals, and challenges. Regularly communicate with clients to provide updates, discuss strategy, and address concerns.

Strategic Planning:

Develop digital marketing strategies aligned with the client's business objectives. Collaborate with other teams within the agency (e.g., SEO, content, social media) to create integrated campaigns.

Campaign Execution:

Oversee the implementation of digital marketing campaigns, ensuring they are executed effectively and on time. Monitor campaign performance and make adjustments to optimize results.

Budget Management:

Manage the budget allocated for each client's digital marketing campaigns. Ensure that campaigns are cost-effective and within budget constraints.

Analytics and Reporting:

Use analytics tools to track and measure the performance of digital marketing campaigns.

Generate regular reports for clients, highlighting key performance metrics and insights. Provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis.

Team Collaboration:

Collaborate with various teams within the agency, such as content creators, graphic designers, and SEO specialists, to ensure the successful execution of campaigns.

Coordinate tasks and ensure everyone is aligned with the client's objectives.

Stay Informed about Industry Trends:

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, changes in digital marketing, and emerging technologies. Provide clients with insights and recommendations based on industry best practices.

Problem Resolution:

Address any issues or challenges that may arise during the campaign promptly. Work with internal teams to find solutions and ensure client satisfaction.

Client Retention:

Work towards building long-term relationships with clients.Identify opportunities to enhance client satisfaction and loyalty.



  • 5+ years experience in Digital Marketing, with 2+ years Account Management experience.
  • Agency experience, or B2B experience is a big plus!
  • Solid experience working with SEO, SEM, Content and Paid Media. These are 3 essentials! Forecasting, and experience with MQL’s and SQLs are of great advantage.
  • Solid and proven experience working on successful strategies and campaigns.
  • Proven track record of growing and maintaining your own personal client relationship is a huge plus!
  • Confident, outgoing personality, ready to collaborate with initiative and motivation.
  • Team player, sales driven, critical thinker- all must have attributes!
