The Role:
  
My client is seeking a talented and motivated junior to intermediate Character artist to join their team! As a key member of their art department, you will play a crucial role in bringing the game worlds to life through the creation of captivating and visually striking characters.
  
Responsibilities:
  

• Collaborate with the art and design teams to understand and interpret character design concepts.
• Create high-quality 3D character models and textures that meet the artistic and technical requirements of the game.
• Ensure that characters are optimized for in-game performance without compromising visual quality.
• Implement and iterate on character designs based on feedback from art leads and other team members.
• Work closely with animators to ensure seamless integration of characters into the game world.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to continuously enhance your skills and contribute to the studio's artistic vision.

  
Requirements:

• Strong portfolio showcasing character art and 3D modeling skills.
• Proficiency in industry-standard software such as ZBrush, Maya, and Substance Painter.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with game engines. Unity preferred. 
• Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Game Design, or a related field is preferred.
