The Role
This studio is seeking candidates with solid Unity experience. There are five positions available in total, all with a different specialisation. They are looking for solid exposure to one of the following: Ai, Gameplay, Networking, UI or LiveOps.

The Role

Responsibilities
- Working on a small, collaborative team of software engineers, designers and product managers in an Agile environment to understand requirements, estimate the level of effort, and plan out development tasks
- Developing efficient, maintainable, reliable, and scalable software
- Optimize performance and memory usage
- Implementing ‘full stack’ code from Front End through the simulation layer up to the server/database level and back again
- Anticipate, identify and articulate problem areas and develop preventative solutions
- Ensure all code created is robust, maintainable, and meets or exceeds established coding standards/conventions
- Identify and communicate technical problems/limitations
- Identify high-risk items, prioritize dependencies and flag problems as they arise
- Writing automated tests for new features and bug fixes
- 3+ Years of game industry experience
- At least one game shipped using Unity
- Previous experience working with one or more of the following
- Experience with one of the following: Ai, Gameplay, Networking, UI or LiveOps
- languages/technologies/platforms: C#, C++, Objective C, ActionScript, Java, Javascript, mySQL, PHP, iOS, Android, or Facebook APIs.
- A quick learner with a track-record of picking up new technologies
- Excellent understanding of software engineering principles, problem-solving techniques and best practices.
- Organized with an attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Motivated, enthusiastic and passionate
