The purpose of this role is to lead a high performing team of engineers focused Cloud Service’s core infrastructure and shared platforms underlying customer environments, specifically:

• Infrastructure implementation and lifecycle management.
• Compliance for infrastructure and related systems.
• Escalated support, and problem management.

The role will also work with the Leadership Team of the Cloud Services business to define the strategy of the BU, manage change and assess/mitigate risks in the Hosting infrastructure.
 
The leader will utilise their technical background to act as a trusted advisor to customers as well as a technical mentor to internal staff.
 
They will have key strengths in Operational Efficiency across a wide range of technical elements deployed through the Cloud Services environment, Risk Management and ITIL process experience.
 
What we need:
 
Ideally we are looking for a leader that inspires a Customer Service culture as well as a proven track record for Cloud Service management and Customer Engagement.                               

• 5 years experience in managing technical and/or operational teams, ideally within a Mission Critical environment       
• Successful track record in people management    
• Drive to succeed, exceptional organisational skills 
• Demonstrable ability to set up, lead and deliver projects   
• Limited budget management, cost conscious, business acumen
