Planning and Trading Manager

The Company
One of Australia's biggest media agencies. Providing a full range of integrated marketing solutions, they are seasoned in the digital marketing landscape. With 100+ employees and counting as well as being based in some of the biggest markets in the country, they work with some of the biggest and most recognisable brands in Australia (BMW, Salesforce, Bupa to name a few.)

The Role
You will be leading a team of executive level traders and planners, managing the resource allocation and measuring the outcomes of your team. You will lead the growth and development of your team, as well as shoulder financials in terms of budget control, contract management and account queries. 

Additional responsibilities: 
  • Implementation of investment strategies 
  • Work with the director to package together service offerings to Client Leads
  • Support the director in identifying commercial opportunities
  • Lead the team WIP and manage any direct issues, with reporting to the director
  • Implement the team vision and support culture growth in innovation, proactiveness and results
 
Requirements: 
You will need 2-3 years in a hands on trading and/or planning role in an agency environment. It will be essential for you to understand the technical aspects fo your teams responsibilities. Some team leadership on top of this will also be necessary.
