Product Business Analyst

About the Role:
 
My client is looking for an experienced and people-focused Product Business Analyst to join Australia’s fastest-growing SaaS companies. They are looking for someone who has experience building long-lasting relationships throughout a business whilst also providing deep technical product-based insights.
 
The successful candidate will bridge the product design and development teams. Document all user stories and provide acceptance criteria. Work with dev teams to ensure they fully understand all features and functionality. Devise and report on metrics for product success.
 
 
How Will You Make a Difference?
  • Collaborating effectively with the Product Managers, Product Design Team, and Development Teams
  • Taking a lead role in documenting all new features and functionality, ensuring all Development Teams fully understand all user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Working closely with QA colleagues to help work with acceptance criteria to create test cases
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and the Global Marketing Team to devise metrics for product success

  • QA Team
 

Success Will Be Measured By:
  • Clarity and completeness of user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Quality of metrics for product success, and Test Cases created with QA Team
  • Product knowledge
  • Feedback from Product Managers, Product Design Team, Development Teams and QA Team
  • Maintain excellent Backlog health 
 

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • Highly experienced Product Business Analyst with thorough knowledge of web technologies
  • Experience delivering high-quality documentation for online products
  • 3+ years in a similar role
  • Experienced team player
  • Experience in working with an outsourced product development team 
  • Relevant qualifications an advantage 
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
  • Experience managing dependencies in a complex software environment
