Portfolio Coordinator
Job description
This is a business that has scaled rapidly over the past 12 months and is now at the point where delivery needs more structure, visibility and consistency to keep up with growth.
Rather than continuing to stretch Delivery Managers across both client delivery and internal coordination, they are introducing a dedicated Portfolio Coordinator to bring order, clarity and discipline across the entire delivery function.
This is a genuinely important hire. Not because it owns delivery outcomes, but because it enables everything else to run properly.
The Role
- This role sits at the centre of delivery.
- You will be responsible for coordinating activity across a portfolio of client engagements, ensuring everything is tracked, visible and running in a structured way.
- You will work closely with Delivery Managers and the Portfolio Manager, removing administrative load and allowing them to focus on client outcomes and commercial performance.
- This is not a Delivery Manager role. You are not owning clients or delivery outcomes.
- You are the person making sure everything is organised, up to date and moving forward as it should.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Delivery Coordination & Tracking
Maintain delivery plans, milestones and timelines across multiple accounts, ensuring everything is accurately tracked and visible
Reporting & Visibility
Provide clear, structured reporting across delivery progress, risks and performance, giving stakeholders confidence in what is happening
Governance & Process Discipline
Maintain RAID logs, change control and governance artefacts, ensuring consistency across all delivery work
Risk & Issue Management
Track risks, issues and actions, making sure nothing is lost and everything is followed through
Stakeholder Coordination
Work across Delivery Managers, product and technical teams to ensure alignment and smooth execution
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in a Project Coordinator, Delivery Coordinator or PMO-style role
- Background in SaaS, technology, consulting or professional services environments
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams
- Experience with RAID logs, reporting and delivery governance
- High attention to detail and pride in keeping things accurate and structured
- Strong written communication skills
