This is a well known Australian ed-tech company, and they're looking to grow their sales team with a Business development manager focussing on bringing on board new contracts. They deliver tech and education products recognisable to every student in Australia, and many countries internationally. They have central offices, and are a group of empathetic people genuinely supportive of their cause and product.

This is a well known Australian ed-tech company, and they're looking to grow their sales team with a Business development manager focussing on bringing on board new contracts. They deliver tech and education products recognisable to every student in Australia, and many countries internationally. They have central offices, and are a group of empathetic people genuinely supportive of their cause and product.
The Role
You will be talking to principals, procurement managers of schools and "head of" on a daily basis, acting as a product expert and bringing on board new clients within your selected region. Other target areas could be libraries and educational institutions. It's one of the most widely used ed-tech products not only in Australia, but internationally.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Achieving sales revenue targets individually and within your team
- Targeting and prospecting new client relationships, based on your territory plan
- Provide solutions based outcomes with key decision makers
- Lead management and targeted outreach
- Client calls and meetings
- Negotiation and closing contracts
Requirements:
This role is suitable for someone who enjoys talking to people on a daily basis and has 2 years experience in a sales or BDM role for SaaS or edtech products.
